Alkistis Lara Papapadaki ^^ Edible installation. Notes and Drafts.

June 8 @ 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Academic writing is often accompanied by a cycle of anxiety, self-doubt, blocking, emotional breakdown, where things eventually unravel, arguments, sources and meanings converge, the thesis, article, book is written, and a great sigh of relief leaves escapes its writers.

Typically, the texts we share publicly are ready, neat, clean of notes and edits and all the process that reflects the stress and doubt of writing them. In this installation, I wish instead to remain in the stage between the written and the unwritten, the stage of notes and drafts, where nothing is quite formed or makes sense yet, and to have fun with it, to share it; to bring these texts into focus and see them again as something other than sources of anxiety and failure.
