Together we will learn about local indigenous cultures\, their traditions\, as well as heal with the help of herbal medicines used by those communities for many centuries. The encounter with indigenous wisdom will be facilitated by Óscar\, Joulia\, Anna and Vica. You can read more about all of us below. Óscar will host several healing rituals for our group that belong to local indigenous knowledge. To make sure that this indigenous knowledge is preserved safely\, we share the details of the rituals during individual calls with those who express interest in the journey. Each participant can decide not to take part in any of the offered practices\, as well as choose additional individual practices that we can advise. During the 7 days of the program\, there will be a morning yoga and meditation practice led by Vica\, a daytime group session of energetic healing facilitated by Anna\, as well as an evening practice of Qi Gong and Việt Võ Đạo Kung Fu with Joulia. Each day will be devoted to one of the 7 chakras - points where different aspects of energy are concentrated in the body. Linked to the elements and senses\, chakras relate to all areas of the mind\, body and spirit\, as well as their relationship to the environment. Moving from the root chakra upward\, we will engage with the aspects of life that each of them is connected with: grounding and safety\, sensuality and creativity\, willpower and determination\, love and compassion\, authenticity and communication\, intuition and intelligence\, balance and spiritual connectivity. The healing journey aims to bring all the 7 chakras into balance\, reconnecting you to your own self\, as well as the energy of our living planet. The remaining 2 days will be occupied by a sightseeing program that Óscar has prepared for us. We will visit Chichen Itza\, a Mayan archaeological site\, as well as the lagoon Kaan Luum. Team Óscar Castell was born in Mexico City in 1976. At the age of 16\, he set out on a journey into the forest\, seeking more than an ordinary life: he was looking for connection and wisdom. It was on that path\, between the earth and the silence of nature\, that he began his journey with the medicinal plants of Mexico. His search became a living practice\, an ancestral school that taught him with patience and rigour. For more than 30 years\, he has walked this path\, exploring and experiencing in his own flesh the mysteries of ancestral medicines. For more than a decade\, Óscar has shared this knowledge as a facilitator\, accompanying processes of transformation and healing.   Joulia Strauss is a teacher of Qi Gong and Việt Võ Đạo Kung Fu. Practicing for twelve years and teaching with the red shirt qualification\, she combines both traditions. She is also an Indigenous Mari artist and "activist"\, based between Athens and Berlin. Her art has been displayed in solo and group exhibitions at the Pergamon Museum\, Martin-Gropius-Bau\, Tate Modern\, Athens Biennale\, Kyiv Biennial\, ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe\, and documenta14\, among many others. She plays a reconstruction of an Ancient Greek lyre and sings healing songs in Ancient Greek\, Mari\, and many other languages. She is the founder and organiser of Avtonomi Akadimia in Athens.   Anna Melnik is a therapist\, coach\, healer\, writer\, energy guide\, and founder of the holistic and creative community Holista. Since 2009\, she specializes in the method of energetic cleansing and realignment called “cosmoenergy”. Cosmoenergy is a resonance-based energy method that uses specific frequencies to support balance\, immunity\, emotional resilience\, and internal coherence. It is based on resonance\, frequency-based therapy\, and a holistic vision of the human being.   Vica Kravtsova has been practicing yoga for 15 years\, having received their first yoga teacher certification (RYT-200) in Rishikesh\, India in 2014. Since then\, they took part in numerous workshops with teachers of hatha and ashtanga yoga from Russia\, Germany and the USA. In 2025\, Vica finished a teacher training in the Jivamukti method in Berlin\, Germany. Apart from yoga\, they write a dissertation in Area Studies\, facilitate workshops\, curate exhibitions and other collective encounters\, write and translate poetry\, dance and make music. How to take part The language of the journey is English. No prior knowledge or experience of any of the practices is needed to take part. Participation in the programwith accomodation in double rooms will cost you € 1800\, in single rooms - € 2000. There is an option to reduce the price if you bring your own tent or share a trailer as a group of four - these options can be discussed during the call.
