In the workshop “Reimagining and rewriting futur(es) in Plato’s jungle” we will envision alternative ideas for the place where Plato, the author of Politeia, one of the first utopian texts, taught 2500 years ago.
Using techniques of mindfulness, awareness, narration, oral history, dialogue and the historical-philosophical background we will narrate – write, draw, or perform – different futures for the park.
There will be an introduction into the subject as well as an explanation about techniques of envisioning future(s), may they be utopian or dystopian. Bring your ideas, your complaints, your hopes for the future of the park to this workshop, where we shall propose, discuss, perform, narrate them. The contributions of the participants of this workshop will be published in the 10 year anniversary edition of Avtonomi Akadimia publications.
