In a time of theft of and violent cuts to necessities of life (food, housing, healthcare, income) the public space of Akadimia Platonos needs defending NOW. The park is a space for forms of shared life which are under threat by state and capital. The mall development must be stopped. What kinds of sounds can strengthen bodies to stop this? For Act I: we will walk around the circumference of the park with placards and megaphones asking people to join us as we walk. For Act II: a sound-poetry workshop with electronic band Kyrck. Sound as defense; sound as offense. JOIN US!
