Ivan Razumov is a legendary artist and renowned illustrator based in Russia. His sensual, extravagant and higly virtuous works unite romantic hallucinations and the grotesque political reality, dreamscapes and dronescapes, scientifically and erotically charged content. Ivan lives and creates in the heart of Moscow’s intellectual scene from the very beginning of his artistic practice. Thousands of illustrations of books written by the most important authors of our generation such as Pavel Pepperstein, Viktor Shenderovich, Viktor Mazin tell a deep realtime story of philosophy, literature, politics and art of the contemporary Russia. Ivan Razumov’s drawings and paintings have been exhibited and very well received in the numerous exhibitions around the world such as at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, Russian Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Freud’s Dreams Museum St. Petersburg.
