Posters are one of the safest and most efficient ways of spreading and gaining information in Athens. They contribute to the duality characterizing the city: On one hand being the occidental capital of great thinkers and philosophy, and on the other being a city of thresholds and in constant transition.
We will pay tribute to the poster. Through discussion and discovery we will collectively create posters and explore the history and possibilities of this temporary, two-dimensional medium as a strong tool of resistance.
Clara Mosconi is a visual artist working with ideas of space in relation to social life, exploring borders, architecture and commoning through clay, text, performance and sound. Her practice often takes shape through organising activities; creating frameworks wherein experimenting and sharing across space, disciplines and knowledge is the main focus.
Clara is working in, between and across Copenhagen, Reykjavík, Bergen and Athens.
